I offer a few cautions when living in China, and they would include do not go tea tasting, as they may tell you it's just 50 yuan, but they don't tell you that's per cup!
Don't accept offered taxi rides when quoted a price, they will rip you off. Stop a two tone taxi, and make sure he has a meter before you get in, otherwise walk away.
